Dear Joplin Construction Design & Management,

     We, the people of the Hood United Methodist Church, would like to thank you for making our vision of a Christian Life Center become real.  Our desire was to have a building that would meet the many needs of our growing church.  We needed a larger area in which to worship God.  We needed more classrooms for our people to study the Word of God.  We needed more space for fellowship.

     As is true with many churches, we had limited space and finances to meet these many needs.  You were instrumental in designing a building that was "elegant" in the words of our chairperson.  I frankly did not believe that a multi-purpose building could be elegant.  I was hoping for satisfactory place for worship.  My chairperson was correct.  The beauty of the worship center has transformed our building into a place worthy of worship of our Lord and God.  The attendance at our worship service has risen over fifty new people each Sunday in the past eight months.

     I frankly dreaded the construction of a new building.  I had never built a building but had heard the horror stories from other pastors.  You could not have been better.  You would give us options and guide us through our decisions.  You would tell us places that we could save money and where it was important to go with more expensive but better quality materials.  Your expertise reduced the total cost of our building and added to the beauty and usefulness of our new facility.

     A further concern was what would happen when the inevitable problems after construction arose.  How difficult would it have to be to have you return and fix any problems?  In the past year, we had two minor problems.  Your response was immediate and efficient.  On both occasions, you informed us that the need was completely covered under our warranty including labor.

     We want to thank you for building us a Christian Life Center that is both functional and beautiful.  You have enabled us to greatly expand our ministry and serve our God.  We especially appreciated the care and professional manner in which you worked with us. 

May God continue to bless you in building the Kingdom of God.
